The FIA Environmental Accreditation Program is the governing body's framework for recognizing and advancing environmental management across motorsport. Three Star is its highest level, awarded only to organizations that demonstrate a comprehensive and independently audited Environmental Management System with rigorous standards.
The accreditation assesses organizations across various criteria, spanning energy use, water consumption, waste management, transport, supply chain, carbon emissions, and more, and is verified by an independent external auditor.
In a sport defined by split-second margins, consistency over time is the truest measure of performance. Three consecutive years at the highest level of environmental accreditation reflects not a single effort, but an embedded culture of environmental responsibility within our team, one that is reviewed, challenged, and improved season after season.
Formula E is the world's only B Corp certified sport and the first carbon-neutral motorsport series. As a competing team, we take seriously our role in upholding and contributing to that standard, not merely benefitting from it.
This achievement is a milestone, not a destination. As we look toward the GEN4 era and beyond, our ambition remains the same: to compete at the highest level on track, and to be held to the highest standard of it.
